ClipHist keeps the text snippets you paste often — your email address, an address, a link, a stock reply — so you never have to retype them. Tap a clip and it goes straight to your clipboard.

Using the app

• Copy — tap any clip. A short confirmation appears.
• Add — tap +. Type your text, or use Paste from Clipboard.
• Edit — swipe a row right, or long-press it and choose Edit.
• Delete — swipe a row left, or long-press it and choose Delete.
• Reorder — tap Edit, then drag rows by the handles.
• Appearance — tap the gear for Light, Dark, or System.

Common questions

Where are my clips stored?
On your device only, in ClipHist's own private storage. The app has no internet connection and no servers. See the privacy policy for the full detail.

Will my clips transfer to a new iPhone?
Yes, if you use iPhone backups — your clips are included in your own backup.

Does ClipHist record everything I copy?
No. iOS does not allow apps to watch the clipboard in the background, and ClipHist does not attempt to. Clips are only saved when you add them yourself.

I deleted a clip by mistake.
Deletions are immediate and cannot be undone from within the app.
